The view over my garden wall. The next field is full of turnips to feed the sheep and in the distance you can see the fells of the Lake District. It was fine this morning but we have had rain this afternoon.

The photo was taken with my Samsung phone.

The first one is my favourite, but I think it would be more interesting if there was an eye catching silhouette, like an interesting shaped mosque or a person.



The bird is good too, makes you wonder what it's doing walking around in the water like that.

Hey Nuc!!

I've been practising with my phone camara! Here is one of my horses. She is an American Miniture Horse. Lexie is blind and has been since she was kicked in the head by another horse. I took her in as I felt sorry for her. She is beautiful and has a beautiful personality. This her first outing since being confined to the stables over winter.

My daughter is visiting this weekend. She is expecting her first baby soon and it is a girl. She has told me she will call it Lexie.

I don't need this confusion at my time of life

Bird is looking for food.

It's the first pic I really like from you Nuc. Sorry, don't take that the wrong way, just my honest opinion. This pic actually made me intriged. I think it's the yellowish/orange color with the setting, something mysterious, as if something is gonna happen, and you just wonder what. It's the first pic that introduced some kind of emotion.

Nice touch that the gate is half open, you just wonder why and what's going on. (somebody most probably just left it that way , but still).

Thanks I think the last photo is my best shot yet. It looks amazing. But the car photo took more effort to get the colors right.

Thanks, two of my latest photos:

The pic hosting site compression is messing up the pics, specially the sky in the 1st pic.

No it is like that. I had to take the pic in high ISO to increase the shutter speed. Increase the shutter speed to compensate shaking since I didn't had my tripod or monopod with me. I'm taking these pics alone is I've to compensate somewhere lol.

You are getting really good at this Nucleus. Very impressive.

We had a few days with cloudy overcast.

No mate check out the near the edges of the buildings, you can clearly see compression artifacts, you can see the pixelation. A high ISO should not give you that unless you were on really low res, but from the detail captured in the rest of the pic probably wern't. Anyways I'm just saying almost all pic hosting sites like photobucket and all do that and sometimes really takes the crap out of some nice pics.

DDS, there is pixelation, but its getting worse because of the higher ISO. ISO in that photo is very high @3200. Pros never go above 800 ISO, don't quote me on that one but that's what I heard.



I tried to fix the ISO abrasions in photoshop. Not sure if it worked.
