Need Guidance !! One of my friend has lost his passport with valid UAE Residence while he went for a trip to his home country India , Now he has got his new passport against the Lost one from the authorities in india , How can he come back to Dubai and what is the process of getting his old residence visa in his new passport.He is struck in india because of this issue and he needs to join the duty back in UAE.

I guess his company will have to arrange a replacement visa for him, to be picked up at the airport. He needs to file a report. His PRO should be dealing with all of this.
