And a little ode for Anastacia. Didn't hear of her much, until I heart her singing in a music store to promote her tour and new album years ago. I was mesmerized by her voice straight away. Needless to say I bought her album and tickets for her concert. .

Last year I posted a topic 'Why is Everybody Called Mohammed?' which showed my confusion over Beth's friends who were all called Mohammed.

I'll tell you what, when I started to work in Dubai, I was impressed with the respect I got. I think on DF I remarked Dubai treats newcomers better than Holland. I was even quite pro-palestinian at that time. Slowly on DF I started to see the ugly side of Islam, the very ugly violent side. I was in Dubai during the release of Fitna of Wilders. Never were any threats held made me, but I did get sneers and I was held personally responsible for what Wilders publiced. I thought, this was very wrong, the true face was slowly showing. On DF the face of Islam got uglier and uglier. I thought you were the quite, laid back type. I was wrong, you have the same violent tendencies and death wishes as your co-religionists. Dawa, you are doing it wrong!

What on earth are you on about now FD? You seem to really have lost the plot.

I really enjoy country music and the personal stories the country singers put to music, some we can relate to, and some reminds us of people we know or knew. This song was in a John Travola movie - Urban Cowboy. This is a song about someone looking for love but couldn't find it. Real life stuff, but for some, finding that love is elusive. (I found my love many years ago!!!!)

Annoyingly catchy 'tune' that is playing in the house right now -- I got some kudos points off my daughter for identifying it was Portugese! Even the young 'uns are singing along - and even more annoyingly they know the dance moves! (And yes, the Mullahs out there won't approve at all! )
