What has the 'Spring' brought Egypt so far? Multiple gang rapes on Tahir square, antisemitic language, assaults on Copts, a failed bond issue and a glooming lack of foreign currency. And foreigners have been kidnapped, now with a new episode:

EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma’an) -- Armed men kidnapped three Korean tourists and an Egyptian guide in St. Catherine in the southern Sinai on Friday, an Egyptian security official said.

Maj. Gen. Muhammad Najib, director of south Sinai security, said a group of armed Bedouins stopped a bus of Korean tourists and kidnapped three in addition to the guide in Wadi Firan area.

Security sources predicted that the kidnappers may be the same who kidnapped three Americans in order to negotiate releasing Bedouins imprisoned for weapons and drugs violations.

Egyptians didn't have a plan when they took to protesting. Currently the Mubarak government is ruling, but the Muslim Brotherhood will push them out. I bet Mubarak is looking real good to Egyptians right now and will look even better in the future. The devil you know, the devil you don't know. Welcome Egypt to the devil you don't know.

The US is threatening to hold back thei $1 billion in aid money. Well, it was bribe money. Keep Egypt docile where Israel is concerned. Most Americans are saying that the US needs to stop giving aid money to all countries that give no value to the US, which I agree with. Ron Paul is a firm believer that aid to all countries should stop. I would love to see him get the nomination, but it isn't going to happen. Apparently Egypt is saying they don't want the money, which would mean the end to the "peaceful understanding" Egypt had with Israel.
