I would like to know if there is any way we can apply for a resident visa for our grandmother. She is alone in her home country and her husband passed away in 2003. Our salaries do not match up with the requirements of DNRD, all other documents are available such for housing, death certificates, Medical insurance and deposit can be arranged.
She is currently on a visit visa for 90 days and it expires in a few weeks. We went to the DNRD in Dubai and spoke to the managers upstairs and they told us they couldn't do anything.
Is anyone familiar with some other way of doing this based on humanitarian grounds? If we have Dubai visas can we apply in Abu Dhabi or some other emirate as I have read that in Abu Dhabi only a deposit is needed and the requirement for salaries is within the average salary range.
