Actually he was brilliant at the Here and Now event a while back. He's a right laugh and generally all round funny bloke.

As you pointed out chocs, Culture Club were here in the last 12 months... and they are playing 2 nights before NYE.

They would struggle to fill the tennis stadium at the best of times. In fact I'd say it was Belinda Carsile who drew most of the crowd last time... which ain't saying much I know.

Did anyone go to see East 17 last night? At least they had more sense in trying to only sell 300 tickets.

Actually at Here and Now it was just Boy george. Culture Club haven't been reformed that long, they're performing in Sydney for NYE, so I think this is kinda their warm up gig.

I can understand him going to Sydney, plenty of willing partners there, but sorry, Culture Club are not going to draw much of a crowd... even if most of the locals also like it that way... they prefer to remain in the closet/toilet.

Someone forgot to mention Coldplay in Abu Dhabi NYE.

I'm not keen on Chris Martin either. Nor his wife for that matter.

Both are vastly over rated in my book.

Oh no when COldplay played Emirates Palace a couple of years ago it was the best gig I've ever been to. It totally chucked it down with rain, was a massive thunder and lightning storm but they carried on and turn in a fantastic show. They're an extremely talented group, definitely one to see live.
