A news item on the radio has just announced that Services are to be cut-off on the Palm, it didn’t specify which services but did specifically mention ‘The Golden Mile, 1 and 2? The Golden Mile? There’s only one ‘Golden Mile’ in my book!

I don't know about services on the Palm but a rather annoying thing has happened to my friend who is staying at my place in JBR. The management company, I'm not sure what they are calling themselves today, have decided to impliment the parking barriers. Everyone had to collect their fobs and stickers last year which I did. They have now de-activated the fobs and you must take it to the office between 8 and 5 to have it re-activated with your tenancy agreement ot title deed.

My friend has neither a title deed nor a tenancy agreement. The security let her into the car park during the week but aren't so keen on the weekend.

How very annoying. What's it got to do with the management company who I let stay in my flat?

Well I’m pretty sure there will be some underlying scheming reason for the new process, didn’t Salwan attempt to block residents access to the car parking a few Years ago, I seem to recall, I would guess they’re looking to recover the service Charge arrears again?

And it’s the same on the Palm apparently, the threat is to interrupt the Water and Electricity supplies for the non payment of service charges.
