The Not-So-Special Anglo-American Relationship Nov 16, 2011
Hmmm, so recently, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Republic of Ireland on a National relationship building exercise, Hilary Clinton the US Secretary of State, followed shortly after, attempting to do the same, the Royal couple went on to visit Australia for the CHOGM Biennial Forum in October, Obama, the current US President has now followed them to Australia to talk about military ties!

Allowing for Obama’s 2011 visit to Ireland, as an effort to secure the American-Irish vote for his upcoming election, Is this latest trend of stalking the British Royals a coincidental timetable of events, or orchestrated with a hidden political agenda? Is it a product of the general consensus of opinion of the American people, or does the American president lack the emotional maturity to deal with the Royal Navy, torturing his grandfather in 1949?

It appears on the surface to me, that the unique Anglo-American relationship so frequently spoken of, isn’t in fact all that special with Obama in the driving seat!

I'm definately not feeling the love that I used to during that special relationship of George Dubya and Tony!

Maybe Bora can throw some light on it?
