Man I've been waiting all my life to see metallica play ! I was there biggest fan growing up, lars was myinspiration to pick up the drums. But now I dunno If I want to ! Specially after the crap they have started putting out since reload !

Anywhoo any more details ?

Their useless album after Load, which wasnt great either.

Agree they should play stuff from ride the lightning and master of puppets, but somehow I have a feeling it will mostly be stuff from their useless new album Death Magnetic.

I am seriously pondering to give this a miss !

Seriously, Metallica haven't released a good album since the "...and justice for all" album in 88, that's 23 years ago.

I like alsmot all the stuff till the black album and a some after that aswell. But after the black album its all downhill from there.

If you haven't seen them before DDS, you don't have much to lose.
I'll be checking out the reviews from prior concerts to see what they play.
I'll like to say that they will change the playlist since they haven't been to UAE before, but this is unlikely.

Well seeing that they haven't actually come up with anything really worth listening too in over 15 years and considering the pricey tickets and all that faff about buses, parking etc etc and I don't believe I'm going to say this because 15 years back I would've killed too.

I'm going to give this a miss.

Got it from a metalica website. Same list for the past 3 shows, except for the first encore which varies.

Have to say that Metallica totally rocked it last night! Because it was their first time here, I think they felt obliged to play all the old stuff, and so they did, only playing one track off the new album.

They looked thoroughly delighted to be here, played for over two hours and put in an amazing show. If you had doubts and missed it, then you definitely missed out.
