Strange but I have never seen any burka in Italy. Even dustmen in Rome are white. That's why I prefer Rome to Paris.

Just to clarify, there is no Burqa ban in Australia. However due to recent clarifications to the law anyone who is driving a car cannot be anonymous and must remove any face cover on request by a police officer. This is for reasons of public safety. Also banks have had rules for a long time preventing people from entering wearing a face covering or motocycle helmet.

We have freedom of religion and expression in Australia even if the Wahabist who believe that womens faces should be covered don't believe in those freedoms.
