Wondered if someone can help me.

I have a villa in Mirdif where I need to rent out a couple of rooms to help bring in some income. I have a 12 month contract with my landlord (standard UAE one). I know of other people who rent their rooms out privately but is this allowed? Not sen anything about this on the internet and I'm sure my landlord wont mind as long as I get the right tenants in. Is there an issue with this? Am I allowed? Apologies if I am being Naive?

Technically unless you have permission to sublet rooms from your landlord, then no, it's not allowed. Also bear in mind that opposite sexes sharing is also not allowed.

you can do it provided you find someone who is the same colour as you and if questioned you can explain to them he/she is my son or daughter or something like that

you can rent through contacts like good friends

It's not allowed legally but people still do renting to friends.
