Just a full moon now

It starts around now, the peak will be coming up to midnight and ends around 2am. The moon should turn red.

Got a wondefull, clear and uninterrupted view from my window. Was thinking of heading out into the desert for this but then after a peek out of the window changed my mind.

Did anyone check out the Eclipse? It was pretty cool I have to say.

Yup, kinda weird seeing a dark redish moon in the sky. The eclipse was totally awesome. I wanted to get some pics but my crappy point and shoot wasn't up to the job !

Got a few out of focus shots with my DSLR - too far away for my camera to focus automatically and it was too humid on my balcony for me to bother attempting a proper job.

Must try harder next time!

Couldn't see it in the UK, too many clouds, as usual.

My zoom lense did the trip, but I really needed a tripod with a remote shutter control.
