Sounds like the pub scene in Star Wars.Amid the continued fighting Sunday, the United Arab Emirates said it's recognized the rebels' political group as the sole representatives for the country.

The UAE moves came just three days after an international gathering there on ways to aid the rebels and their Transitional National Council based in eastern Libya.

Insurgents had reported fighting street by street to retake a port city about 18 miles west of Tripoli, a prize that would put them within striking distance of the capital and cut off one of Gadhafi's last supply routes from Tunisia.

But government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim said late Sunday that Gadhafi's forces had driven off the attackers, and reporters taken to Zawiya saw secure streets and the green national flag flying over a central square.
