The convoy usually travels in a convoy of three of those so no one really knows which one is carrying the president. But I can imagine the nerves of the Secret Service during that episode !

Waiting for our expert to appear and reveal it was an IRA conspiracy. Hope he can reveal his sources.

I tend to think that wasn't the car with the president in it. You would have had men popping up and jumping out all over the place, plus the "driver" would never have left the car.

Thats what I thought and actually went when both the front doors opened ! Nothing short of a security nightmare ! Wonder how they got it out ? Thing weighs a billion tons with all that armour for an ordinary car to pull it out atleast without damaging itself or the other car.

Also wonder how they missed this as they do a full sweep and check off everything even before the president arrives. Now that this is out and most probably will give some insane nutters ideas on how to imoblise the beast I'm sure all of them will be going in for modifications to avoid or overcome such a situation in the future. Adjustable ride height perhaps ?

Might look innocent to the bystander but from what I know the secret service is going to be taking this event VERY seriously.
