So "WHITE" points if your a safe driver!

Does anybody else find this offensive and racist?

Don't see everything black and white.

not really no. They are talking about points on your license. I have always believed if you broke the rules of the road you received black points. So I guess the opposite of that ie good driving would be white points. There you are Drew all explained. Racism does not come into it.

So why is white=good and black= bad?

Why cant school teachers refer to a blackboard any longer when its actually black? That was considered racist by blacks!

I really don't know. Its just a name of a colour. Could be moon points versus sun points for all I care. I honestly can't take responsibility for naming of colours. I know what you are saying but I don't think that people should get offended about the colour of things it really is just ridiculous and anyway most schools don't use blackboards any more they use whiteboards. Should all white people now be offended over that. No they wouldn't in the same way that most black people weren't offended by the term blackboard.

Our school was light years ahead in terms of PC thinking, our boards were dark green. Nobody could be offended by that, other than the little green men from Mars I suppose

Calm down Dillon I was just trying to point out that the more we make an issue of race the more it becomes one. Personally I liked the golly on the Robinsons jar in fact my brother had a toy one. Although at the age we were we didn"t associate it with black people. And good luck trying to play the race card in Dubai the only people that works for is the Emirati's.

It's a stupid initiative. So basically they want to reward people for driving the way they should? It;s another 'lazy' initiatve from Dubai Police who can't be bothered to get out there and harshly punish those who cause chaos on the roads.
