Stories like this annoy me, why people have pets and then things change and they can't take them with them. Poor Jessie desperately needs a new home of she will be put to sleep.

I'm an animal lover, but have mixed feelings about euthanasia. Sometimes animals just need a chance and shouldn't be euthanized, but some animals simply aren't adoptable. If there are ample facilities, money, and volunteers, then all the animals can be kept until they die of natural causes; however, I don't think most shelters have those kinds of resources.
