On the subject of driving over here, i haven't seen any "locals" taking lessons or tests on the roads. Most of the time it's Indians, etc that i see in the Driving School cars.

Maybe if you did write slower you would have noted the ommision of a period at the end of your sentence!

Perhaps you used them all up after inclination?

When Grammar Guy is a name, of course both words would be capitalised!!!!

And the smiley replaced the FULL STOP, as it is called, and NOT a period. You have just given it away that you are American......which is all the more ironic, since Americans spell everything wrong (color, neighbor, Usama.....)

And Omission is how you spell it, not ommision. Some Spellchecker you are.....

No tricks from my side - you obviosuly changed your original post to correct it, after i pointed out the spelling error.

I think everyone knows you are a regular poster hiding behind you alter ego of Spellchecker Girl, and as for your comment about other people rasing their heads to derail threads / cause trouble (in another thread), i would say that your only purpose, as Spellchecker Girl, is to do exactly that - insult people (Chocs on the other thread), and generally be obnoxious to wind up everyone else, so as not to get the blame in your regular identity.

I'm not interested in joining the ongoing arguments, and don't want one now, but i'm not going to have it said i am playing the childish games that others seem to revel in (changing quotes, etc). Please leave me out of it.

I contribute when i want to, and don't go out of my way to wind anyone up - please don't go out of your way to have a dig at me either!

I'm not going to admit anything - if i make a spelling mistake or grammer error, so what? This is not and English exam, it's an internet forum! Anyone who gets their kicks correcting others on minor points and does it to annoy everyone else, obviously has way too much time on their hands.

No suprise you jumped in to back SPG, as it's likely Bora Bora (my personal guess) or Bethsmum behind it, and they are your team in the ongoing arguments over the last few months. I think that is obvious to everyone.
