A housemaid chopped off a man’s penis after he pestered her for a massage, police told 7DAYS.

The Ethiopian woman, who is in her 20s, told officers she had reached the end of her tether following abuse at the hands of her 70-year-old Emirati boss and lashed out with a knife - slicing off his private parts.

The attack happened on Monday. An official at Dubai Police said:

“Our command room received a call from the man who was yelling in pain. We sent a police patrol to his home in Deira.

“They found him bleeding badly. His housemaid had chopped off his private parts using a knife.

“She claimed the man used to abuse and harass her. On the day of the incident she claims he asked her to give him a massage. She got angry, went to the kitchen to get a knife and attacked him.”

The maid was still in the house when cops arrived and was taken into police custody. She has been referred to Dubai Public Prosecution, which will now complete the investigation, but has initially been charged with assault. The man is recovering in hospital.

‘ABUSE CAN BACKFIRE’

Dubai-based plastic surgeon Dr Luiz Toledo said it may be possible to reattach the penis. He said: “If it had been kept iced and there had not been too much of a time lapse, it could be reattac­hed and fun­ction again, at least partially.”

Police told 7DAYS that maids committed 665 crimes in Dubai last year. The police official said: “We always warn bosses about abusing maids in our police campaigns because bad treat­ment might backfire on them. Maids sometimes commit awful crimes to get revenge and may assault fam­ily members, or put toxic things in food.

“People need to treat maids well because they are also human and have rights.”

In August, an Ethiopian maid in Ras Al Khaimah was arrested for allegedly stabbing her female boss to death and then locking the woman’s two-year-old daughter in a room and setting the home on fire.

Hopefully this news gets enough coverage, Its high time the arrogant fools start to live in fear from their hired help ! , She should have picked up the appendage and flung it out the window too

Lorena Bobbitt…wow…that’s a name from the past!

When I saw this post, I was trying to think of her name, but it just wouldn’t come to me.

I believe Bobbitt threw away her husband’s severed member out of the window, do you know if she was also charged with a "misdaweiner" besides the main charge of "peniscide???"

In a version of the article I read, the guy in question was well known to the Keystone Kops for reporting maids in the past for absconding. Apparently he has a history of playing with the payroll.

I believe John Wayne Bobbitt did actually have a transplant and went on to make some dodgy movies, but later died of an unrelated disease.

I also read where Lorena's behavior is something of a family tradition. Her sister was arrested for trying to emulate Lorena when it came to her own husband. Seems her slicing/stabbing skills weren't as well honed as Lorena's..

When i read this news, i remember same incident happened in Nebraska. My friend, a Omaha dui nebraska lawyer , said that his neighbour a 50 yr old man regularly abused his maid. She longed a complaint and he was convicted quickly.



In this case i don't know, whether the arab will get punishment.
