Reports and pictures in today’s newspapers suggest that David Cameron has whisked Samantha off to a 3* hotel in Southern Spain to celebrate her 40th birthday.
They were pictured, looking bored stiff, in Stanstead Airport, waiting for their budget flight with Ryan Air.
Considering he is a millionaire and the Prime Minister of Great Britain, this seems to be a pretty stingy way to celebrate his wife’s special day.
Samantha has been through a lot in the last couple of years with the death of their eldest son and the early arrival of a new baby.
I would have thought he could have done a bit better than this!

It was nice of him to take her to that 3 star hotel!
I would take my chivas to a quiet and dark corner, and try to numb the pain!
