Hi there rental amount is 3,000AED pm, for an initial 3 month period, and nationalities either western or arab preferably. I have one room with an ensuite and one without.

Thats a bit much now isn't it in todays rental market. For similar or just a little bit more you can get your own apt and in some cases even less, a lot less in many spots in Dubai.

Disco Gardens? Currently being renamed Bachelor city isn't it? And yeah you can get your own apartment for that much, just across the road in Mirdiff in fact.

Plus, people sharing in Dubai is illegal and bachelors at that. We wouldn't want to be encouraging people to break the law now would we? And they have been doing checks in Mirdiff.

I have a friend who lives in Mirdiff, he loves his villa there. Speaks very highly of it indeed. I have to say it's not as nice as my other friend's place in Jumeirah2, now that is a villa to behold! Loads of room for all of his families cars, X6 and Range Rovers galore!

They've been clamping down on bachelors living in Discovery Gardens for quite some time. I actually meant that they were doing lots of checks in Mirdiff last year, some friends had to vacate as they were caught sharing a villa.

Mind you I don't know why they object to single men or others sharing, so long as it's not like 5000 people in one villa, I don't see what the issue is really.
