Human Resources Management System is developed to run on an Intranet / Internet environment. The core of the eHRMS system includes various modules that provide vital information on the HR department’s activities. These modules are Personnel Administration, Payroll accounting, Leave administration and Reporting. The beauty of the design of eHRMS is that it caters to today’s HR functional needs in this geographic region and it is suitable for international operations. eHRMS is extensively parameterized which means that application is mostly in the control of the user.
The entire application is designed for the Microsoft Platform. User Interface is provided by HTML with the presentation layer made by ASP pages running on IIS Web Server. The ASP pages interact with the database with the help of ActiveX DLLs (COM components) generated with Visual Basic. The middle tier is introduced to enhance rapid database processing. Client side form validation is done through JavaScript. The COM components interact with the database using ADO (ActiveX Data Objects).
