As we saw in the official Euro Pol stats, the vast majority of terrorist attacks in the EU (99.6% of them) are carried out by terrorists who aren't 'Islamists'.

To emphasise that point, there have been two terrorist bombings in Rome. And the perpetrators were not 'Islamists' but anarchists:

The message, written on behalf of the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI), said: "We have decided to make our voice heard with words and with facts, we will destroy the system of dominance, long live the FAI, long-live Anarchy."

It goes to show, perception sometimes lags behind reality:

No doubt Chilean people and Swiss people are going to blame all Italians for these bombings. No wait…that only happens when the bombers are Mooslim.

Not really unexpected news, 'analysts' figured that Islamists weren't behind the bombings since the bombs themselves didn't have the potential to inflict mass casualties.

In this case, however, the bombings did manage to injure some innocents, which sets it apart from many other non-Islamist attacks where the terrorists at least alert authorities to provide sufficient time to evacuate the area.

The only resemblance to Islamic terrorism in these bombings was that there were simultaneous explosions. Perhaps Leftists and Anarchists are beginning to take a leaf from the Islamist terrorist playbook now?

Which wouldn't be a surprise, since militant Leftism shares much in common with political Islam.
