I hand wrote 5 letters to friends and relatives. Real letters not just "notes". They's be surprised when they get them as no one I know ever writes letters anymore (e-mail, facebook, tweeter, you name it). And frankly, I can't recall ever doing it (other than "thank you" notes - and some of those written by parents with only my signature).

When was the last time you sent a handwritten letter...

Do you only have access to a computer while at work?

Recently a friend of mind wrote an actual letter ( it was lurve letter actually), even though the girl lives just a few km's away from where he lives, Im talking pretty paper, fancy envelope perfume on the paper, I was telling him wtf are u doing ? , Turns out she totally loved the gesture, I still dont know how it even worked.

Was it hand delivered afterwards?

I must admit that it took me a while although I used to have very nice handwriting but lack of use...

I truely love getting nicely handwritten application letters. Means they put effort in it, try to be special and most of all can actually write. SMS-style emails are the other opposite.

Perhaps a handwritten anything would be acceptable with some agency dealing in creative talent, but in the mainstream sectors it would be received with laughter and contempt, IMHO

I learned a new technique at scout camp by using short hand.
