You'll be able to get tickets from Virgin, itptickets.com, boxofficeme.com, Hallmark outlets and all the usual suspects.

Tickets bought before FEb 28th are 200 DHS, 300 DHS after Feb 28th.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

There's also free shuttle bus services to and from the gig.

already bought mine...am going to be there in my "i used to be a rockstar" mode...megadeath i am curious about...with mustane or without...and saxons...hmmm...should be awesome...starts at 3...am going to take off and go early...curious if they sell alcohol at the venue...aint sure...never been to a concert in dubai before...

Yes alcohol is available at the site, but obviously for over 21's only.

No you cannot take drinks in with you, security will confiscate it, and security is alwasy mega tough at Desert Rock, you have to go through the metal detectors, no large cameras they can find, and they'll check all bags.

At every concert photography is prohibited by the organisers as obviously they only want photographers there in an official capacity such as the papers and magazines. People invariably sneak them in and most peeps have camera phones these days, but camcorders are a bit too obvious. If security see you they will take it off you.

I have a question..
The only bands I want to see are Reel Big Fish and 3Doors Down. So are they going to announce who is playing when anytime BEFORE the festival?

Also- I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they said that kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult...last year it was basically just a bunch of 13 year old "goths" drinking and making out with each other. It was awful. I hope they really are strict with security this year, and maybe a little bit more tough with the whole carding thing. I couldn't even get to the booze last year cuz of all the kids buying the stuff. It was insane.

Knowing the CSM girls as I do, they probably will not announce the order of play. Simply because of the fact they want people to treat it as a festival and come for the whole gig, not just have people turn up for the bands they want to see then disappear.

OK I went back and checked regarding photography. Apparently still cameras are allowed, but not video cameras as MTV Asia and MTV Europe along with other TV stations will be present and covering the event.

Hey XRW...i managed to reach there just in time to see Megadeth...saw few songs by 3 doors down too...i think i liked megadeth more than 3 doors down...but its just about taste..
