With the first round over, what are your predictions?

I know, I know, many will be saying who cares, but Australia were flogged at cricket so I have now taken an interest in the Socceroos and it is the only competition that any of the teams have a chance of winning so is shaping up to be interesting.

Is it the same cup that Iran won Iraq last night?

Yes, Iran are the perenial underachievers, but they are off to a good start this time.
They have North Korea and UAE next, both hard games but winning either one will get them through to the next round... against Australia, hopefully.

At least the Iraqis don't have to incur the wrath of any of the Hussein clan this time, on their return to Iraq.
To be honest the Asian Cup isn't being reported in the UK, well much
I'm still watching the cricket, 20/20! C'mon Engerland.

PS I think this may be a DDS free zone, he doesn't like footie (or cricket either) :D

Well I'm not much of a football fan, just I had my parents around for couple of days and I saw dad watching the game! :D
