Aw Mel, that's such a shame that you think that way about your country. I hope things improve soon for you and your people.

Thanks BM, I love my country, I just don't like the government!
What my friends do is to apply for phd programs in US or Canada, get the scholarship and student visa and get out of the country like that. You know we were like 80 students in the undergraduate in my class. Now less than 10 of us are still in Iran! All gone!
My problem is education is enough for me! I cannot even think of phd! But finding a job abroad and getting a work visa is more difficult than student visa. So maybe this year it will happen!

Bethsmum wrote:That's a shame Mel. I rented my flat to an Iranian couple for a few months last year, they were really nice and I spoke to them at length about your government. They too, loved their country but would have difficulty living in Iran. If I could help you at all coming to the UK, I would, there isn't much work around at the moment, everybody is in fear of losing their jobs at the moment. Good luck Mel.
