Pfff and did any of these guys do anything to actually EARN their money? Not likely!

EXACTLY! Moreover, I really dislike the fact that the government isn't forcing them to do something for the society. I know a number of not very rich people who have done great contributions to the society and for that many people adore them and got high respect. One of them is Mr. Jumaa Al Majed who gives a lot of scholarships for many poor students and is doing a lot of charity.
The guy -initially- refused to pay anything for Dubai Cares stating that he dislikes the "show-off" attitude and hypocricy.

where is Mohammed bin Ali Al Abbar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_bin_Ali_Al_Abbar)? He is probably the only notable figure I've watched that actually seems sensible.
