Yesterday was the Summer Solstice in the UK along with a total eclipse of the moon. BM lay in bed (she doesn't need to close any curtains) and watched the moon. At 7.40am the moon was totally eclipsed. There are no street lights where BM lives and when it's dark, it's dark!
BM braved the morning frost in her PJ's went out into the wilderness and took the following picture to share with you all.



That was a chilly morning I can tell you! Brrrrr...Whats going on with the weather? Please God bring on the global warming!. At this time last year BM was on the emergency planning operation for the floods in Cumbria!

The day ended with a minor earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale which BM missed
It has been reported that the quake cause £1 million worth of improvements to Cumbria.

Don't get your hopes up BM. The same guy that predicted this cold snap is predicting a mini ice age starting as early as 2035.

DD i think there are reports of snow in Oz but you are moving in the wrong direction, I fear, for copious amounts of snow. Here in the UK we cannot compare to Calgary, we are merely wingers with the wrong type of snow. The country comes to a stop with the smell of adverse weather conditions.

I wasn't familiar with that film benwj, I had to google it. I'm not much of a film buff as have a very short attention span. I did like that film about those two lads who were very friendly. It just goes to show what I know about films, I googled those 'two queer cowboys', it brought lots of interesting stuff up but I finally realised they weren't Australian but from Wyoming.

My favourite film is ET and the second most favourite is The Wizard of Oz.
