DDS I have taken your advice about the respray, if you think this will solve the problem then I'm up for it. You seem to know what you are talking about, well as far as cars goes, that is! BM's BM is booked in for a paint job. When I checked the colour charts I wasn't struck on British Racing Green, so instead have gone for......white

Bora, I do try with DDS, honest. Please don't get Zubber any more excited than he already is, the poor man! I'll have you know Bora, that you only get carpet burns with carpets that contain nylon, mine are 100% pure new wool. BM knows about these things.

Sorry to hear about the Bimmer misbehaving! How old is it? They are notoriously expensive to maintain, once they are outside the warranty period. The saying is that owners of old BMW's are always broke! So, you have been warned.

Sorry mate no love for the 3 series specialy the older ones. Every non local arab dude has to have one. We call it the Palestenian BMW. All broke and beat up but the guy driving it thinks he driving a 2010 7 series.

Zonker, BM's BM is 6 years old, she is saving for a new one but keeps dipping into her savings for the odd bottle of Chardonnay BM has driven BM's for 22 years in total and hasn't had a bad experience yet. I've had a black one, a blue one, a green one and now a grey one, all good! BM is saving for an X6, she wants a dark red one, but has a long way to go and needs a bigger piggy bank or a rich man. Do you fit either of this criterea?

I was not actually talking of the old and beat up ones, but the new ones. The One series is even better; reminds of the old 2002 Classics of 1970's. BTW, the 7 series is the one that's the most difficult to move by the car showrooms in N. America. Dont like it at all. Ugly beast.

Well we have one thing in common, and that is owning BMs. My last one was a 5 series (Dolphin Grey, for your information), but it was probably jinxed. It had so many things going wrong with it, but it was still under warranty when I sold it off.

DDS, yes the 135i coupe is a wonderfully responsive and tight and taught car to drive. Its a lot of fun....

DDS my Mr Emirati's X6 is not confused in any way. Whan I point it down the Walk it does what it's told, BM is in charge. It's white if that makes any difference.
