Hi everybody! I'm back from vacation, so what's goin on, what did I miss?

Not a lot Mel, just the usual, welcome home.

Hey Mel,
Welcome back habibi.
The forum's been rather lively of late....Our in-house celebrity, Herve, is on a roll.... his naysayers are now pretty much licking onto every word he say's. BM definitely played a major role in that, infact I think he should use her as a publicist.
Beyond that over the last few days DF made some pretty good bed-time reading, with a good dose of chuckles thrown in too, thank DK for that.
And finally lest I forget DF's mandatory fortnightly boxing bouts, there was this one thread where BB and DD let loose. Hilarious stuff, until the Chief of Forums pulled the plug.
Oh and this week DF ushered in a new arrival, a self proclaimed know-it-all,

MCL you are a cheeky little bugger. I admit I am Herve's biggest fan, you got me there, do you think DDS is jealous? As for Joe, well he appears to be a sweetie, quite the romantic. he is not in the least confrontational, unlike me! You should take some lessons from the masters.

So Herve has new fans now, good! As he is very biased and I m not his fan anymore, it s good to keep the balance by new ones!

Mel, don't be too hard on Herve, he has been through more than most have had to suffer. Yes, he's biased but who wouldn't be in his position, he has lost everything including his reputation. Let's hope that one day he can get over it and move on. It can't be pleasant for his wife and family. I like to think we can be charitable enough to wish him well, even if we don't agree with all that he says. I know I do.

Hey Mel!!! How was the trekking?? Spoke to E the day before they were leaving. She sounds just like you!!! She said she had problems getting through to my number. Apparently they had been to the place I had in mind sometime back. Had planned to meet them the next day for lunch but came down with the flu. There's always the next time, hopefully.

Thanks Bora - am so conflicted I didn't want to offend MCL but now it seems its covetted!

I thought both of you made the argument on previous threads about refraining from arguments and having more harmony on DF as the "bitching" was putting new members off? Its all good - spread the love.

Well dear, I've been on the road...

For the past week or so, I've been living on planes, trains and automobiles. Also add to the mix: 3 different hotels, 4 airport lounges, various restaurants (from dirt cheap to fancy ones -- but mostly dirt cheap!), 3 offices, a couple of sleazy bars, one beach and two parks.

Actually, it ain't over yet. So please pray for me!!

Now let's get to the fun talk:

You bet BM, I like ALL the ladies at DF.

But there is only one special lady whom I adore the most. The one and only....

Well.., here is a hint:

I once told her that I was falling in love with her....

Sadly, she's also betting on the wrong horse, a dull (with no flare), outclassed team called (Man City).

But I'm determined to make her see the light and become a supporter of the top team in the world, the undisputed champs, Man United. Whom are always a joy to support (and watch.) Because they never disappoint you...!!

Unfortunately, that's the only thing I didn't like about my girl. But I'm sure I can fix that in no time!!!

But Tom, BM has been a City supporter for more time than she would care to admit. Only last year I went to Eastlands to see my hero, Colin Bell, and he signed his book for me. There's a hint! That was a team, Colin Bell, Frannie Lee, Joe Corrigan and Mike Summerbee, circa 1970. We'll have to work at our differences Tom.

Yes you have definately been out and about, but there's no place like home!

Switching to Man U is actually a move up, not a move down. Being with the winners, you'll live a happier life (with less stress.) You won't be gutted as often as being with Man C. Yep, the 7-1 win over Blackburn, the other night, was something!! Wasn't it???
