My name is Syed Munawar Ali. I live in karachi Pakistan. I have done B.S. Electronics from Sir Syed University & ME Telecommunication from Usman Institute of Technology Hamdard University. Currently I am working in Pakistan largest Media Group as Broadcast Engineer. From last three years 13-sep 2007 till present, I am working in Broadcast IT System Support(Matrox & Macintosh systems) department. My Education & interest is totally out of phase with this department. I tried to switch actual Broadcast Department but didn't successful as my supervisor thinks I am much suitable for this department. I respect my supervisor thinking. I have re-created troubleshooting, maintenance & monitoring Architecture of my responsible Floor. I have implement some new things. I took some interdepartmental trainings. I have created a research paper & thesis related to Broadcast Engineering field. My Research Article will be published on IEEE Broadcast Society Newsletter 2011 edition. I have done many courses. currently I am doing Primavera(Project Management) course. My current salary is 187 USD. I am the second supporter of my family. I want to increase myself financially. I want to work in dubai. I am a professional Engineer but I don't have any experience in Engineering sector. if I want to move in either Telecom/Electronics/Electrical Sector then I will be consder as a fresh candidate kindly give me advise what can I do

So $187 per month is your salary? If so thats about 700 Dhs -- you should be able to get more but the cost of living here is far higher than Pakistan. Nevertheless you should be able to (I am not sure but this is my thinking based on what I know) make more but trust me being away from family, loved ones, children if you have any is not easy -- thats the main hang up for people living and working here from countries like pakistan, india as its unaffordable to bring them here and make a living.

I would suggest you contact companies directly - go to sites like UAE business directory and send emails to all companies with your resume - its a long shot but there is a good turnover of staff in Dubai and you might get lucky. At the same time contact some recruitment agenices that specialise in your fields that are based in Dubai - again you can find these on the internet.
