Personally, I think the women look like zombies, but I can understand why Arab men prefer fair skin.

It's not obvious if you don't read the article - a bit of a pointless thread really. Simple explanation, dark skinned people will always want to be paler, white people will always want to be brown and tan themselves silly - thats it really.

Unless you are Mel Gibson in Braveheart...who was mostly blue!

Thats really passe. I notice that more and more Causasian women also like to be as pale as possible. Tanning is out, pale is in. And I like it, especially with redheads.

Possibly the dumbest thing I've seen written in a long time!

BUT people should know that alot of the product that are used for skin whitening contain some form of bleach - mmmm that's really good for your skin now isn't it.

Not really!

Arab women are naturally fair. Besides I've noticed that with conservative attire (not only applicable to Arab women), they're shielded from the sun really well. Because of which over time(generations) they just get fairer.

The whole fairness fad is over-hyped in India and not so much the Arab world.

Besides if Egyptians had olive skin I think they'd be plenty happy. The whole olive look is what makes Italians and Greeks so desirable in the first place.

they ought to cover themselves up with some indian "beauty" mud that ought to sort out the problem! or as herve said take a swim in dubai seas and they will be "glowing"

And I thought this was going to be a thread that began:

Actually this phenomenon is present practically all over the asian world and not only restricted to the middle easterner's , believe it or not CHINESE and JAPANESE women go to great lengths to maintain their glow, so as to speak, and if im not mistaken (u can ask women about this) , famous cosmetic brands are cashing in on this idea, Although i am not certain what a woman would actually say if she came to know that the her man uses skin lightening products.
