Well you see British people aren't being asked what they want! It's all being decided by government. In recent years there has been a massive shift in large city demographics, as the white, middle class move out into the more rural areas or are leaving the country completely.

That's another shock thing, never mind the number of immigrants coming in, the sheer number of Brits leaving the country every year for pastures new is even higher.

Personally I think the UK should adopt Australian immigration values, you can come in if you have a skill that we need, you live by our way of life and contribute to our society, or you can go back to where you came from.

Hate to break it to you, but that's not the entire name! You obviously didn't click on the link. The full name is:

There is also a guide as to how to pronounce it, but it really doesn't help.

Well LL in Welsh is sort of like TH, but it comes from rolling the tongue from the back. I can't actually write the sound you're supposed to make phonetically. F's are very often V's.

How to pronounce the Icelandic volcano name with a nice little ditty.

This is going to sound SO sad...I have a picture of me taken not 2 weeks ago in front of THAT Welsh sign! This railway station notice actually has a phonetic spelling written underneath, but is still not quite as it should be said.

The translation of the name is:

"The Church of Mary in the Hollow of the white hazel near the fierce whirlpool and the church of Tysilio by the red cave"
