So true of the sand pit!

Best coffee in town is Barista.

Try their Jamaican or Cuban blends. A doppio espresso with a little shot of hot milk is best!

I don't know if you can get it here although I need to find out. I got mine from Jamaica couple of years ago whilst visiting.

You got it the wrong way round Arnie, or was it a Freudian slip :shock: it should have been;

I have never seen the real thing here. Although its more than double the price of all other coffee, it is well worth it. (Salivating!!!!!)

I have a small packet of that sitting on my desk!

The beans have to be 'passed' by the local civet before they can be 'harvested' and then roasted. Sounds like a shit job to me! Not plucked up the courage to try it yet!

I have seen Jamaican Blue Mountain grounds in Waitrose...take out a mortgage to buy it though!

Personally, I mix Danessi and Tchibo caffe crema beans and grind them fresh. Its quite drinkable and reasonably priced.

Well at around £150.00 per lb, and considering, unlike a good wine, it is deteriorating with age, I would get it brewed up one morning and enjoy it while it’s still drinkable, maybe even invite a few friends over to join you … Friend :)

My fave daily drink is Tim Horton's from Canada. Fortunately, friends and family visit often and bring it back for me. I also like the Jacobs brand from the supermarket. Can't stand Starbucks. As I used to visit Jamaica quite a bit, I could hardly wait to try the Blue Mountain coffee. I honestly can say I did not see what all the fuss was about. I tried many brands and there was little consistency. A few were quite nice, but not worth the price; a few were bitter and downright poop.
