I'm looking for a "proper" car detailing / valeting / polishing service in Dubai, can anybody recommend a good company. All the ones i've came across are a bit hit and miss.

Having just been over there working, i noticed there isn't any proper detailing services or professional detailer to speak of.

Early next year I am over working and bringing Jonny from Pure Detail to see the potential in Dubai. We will be over for two or so weeks and i'm sure we can get some bookings in to get him off his arse whilst i am working hard.

Hey all. I just saw this after I had posted some feedback on a car detailing company called Zain Car Cleaning in Dubai on the expat forum just now. I was looking for a company as most of the ones I tried were crap and expensive a couple of weeks back and found a helpful post from someone. I just used these boyz and they were really good. They only use Meguairs products (I think the last place I went to used washing up powder) and also provide a pick up and drop off service. They are currently running a promotion (maybe cos of Ramadan) and do the internal upholstery shampoo, external wax/polish and buffing + engine steam wash for 450 Dhs. The other placesa I called were closer to the 650-750 area. Anyway though this might be helpful for anyone that needed a referral on a detailing company. They can be reached on 056 125 1856 and are on the internet as well if you want to google them. They also god rid of some of my smaller scratches by polishing and buffing.

Yeah thanks JoeTGF. I need my car cleaned and polished as well. Will definitely give them a go as I have some small scratches and a few stains that that I would love to get rid of. Hope its as good as you say but 450 is definitely cheaper than the place I used last year and their work was so-so.

@Spearsy - I have no idea - I think this forum is more about consumers and people living in Dubai/UAE looking sharing experiences and referring products and services they thought were good. I think you are better off contacting detailing centres directly with your services.

I found the service really good. Polite people, good thorough cleaning, excellent shine, makes it easy with pick up and drop off service all at a reasonable price vs others. Anyway I would try them out. I will certainly recommend them to others. Thanks again JoeTGF - good referral!!

Bit of a n00b question, how much does the service cost? Or does it depend on the size of the car?

I just used these guys yesterday - very good service indeed. the pick up and drop off is worth the extra 50Dhs.

@Liverpool4Ever: I think its 450Dhs for the full monty (inside/outside/engine) regardless of the car unless its a hummer or something very big, mine was a Prado. However best to call them and check as am just speculating. Others places I called quoted me much more.

Also FYI to the Forum - Zain does S.M.A.R.T repairs for deep scratches and small dents if anyone is looking for that type of work on their car. S.M.A.R.T. stands for Small Medium Area Repair Technique - I didn't know what that meant either until they told me. The result is flawless and car looks like new inside and out after the cleaning and repair.

Good thread and referral. I tried Zain Car before I saw this thread as I had heard good things about them from friends. I was really pleased with their price, work and service. I didn't know they did bodywork stuff in addition to detailing. Will definitely try them out for the two large scratches on my door panel.

Final Touch Auto Details in Al Barsha is also recommendeble. Value for money (even its a little more than everyone but fantastic work by these guys. Can be reached @ 04-3404455... just got my Audi A6 done and is good as newwwww...
