Hi

I am looking to relocate to Dubai from the UK.

I working as programmer and have 5 years experience within the IT industry.

Can anyone provide tips on how I should apply for jobs? any recommended agencies? Whats the minimum wage I should be looking at per annum? as i will be moving with my wife.

How is the IT industry out there?

Should i be looking for extras from employers?

How about visas?

Sorry loads of questions but need to get the ball rolling

Basically IT is fairly shot out in Dubai as the Indians who are equally as qualified will work for 1/4 the pay you would expect to earn.

There are quite a few IT peeps on here, but they will all say the same, the IT market for westerners is almost impossible now.

Why do you think Dell and a lot of other large Brit companies have out sourced their IT and call centres to India?
