I heard that Dubai taxis will know be selling bottled water (starting with 350 taxis).

How long before someone gets caught filling up empty bottle with tap water from some industrial area, just to make a bit extra dosh.......doesn't bear thinking about really.

I'd certainly be chacking the seal breaks when i opened it - but i wouldn't buy unless they has a fridge too. It's got to be cold....

Chacking the seal doesn't mean anything. Did you see "Slum Dog Millionaire"? They were using quick drying glue to seal the bottles after filling them from the tap.

As for selling water, they don't even have enough of that to sell. They could start with making petrol available first.

I was sick of seeing used plastic water bottles strewn all over Dubai (and plastic bags). People should be traveling with their own reusable metal or BPA-free plastic drink bottles that they fill themselves. Far better for the environment.
