So it looks like Eid will be called on the 10th September - anyone doing anything nice?

So it's 10th there? In Iran they say it's 10th too, but here they started Ramadan one day later! good for muslims here since they had one day less to fast!

But 10th is a friday, so no additional holdiay here!

So there's no extra days? Thought Eid runs for three days, would that not give the Sunday off then aswell?

no here the weekends are Thursday and Friday, and the Eid is just a one day holiday!

Off to Rome for 4 days (Eid Holiday or not)

Takes me back a few years the thought of jumping out of planes, I envy you DK, it's been a long time since I did that.
