I'm laughing so much at the conspiracy theories for Al Jazeera's total incompetence over the WC broadcasts. Sabotage? The Egyptian Government out to get them - please! Can't they just admit they messed it up?

They've only had like, oh four years to prepare for the thing.

The truth is, they didn't get enough bandwidth from Nilesat and are now making up stuff to cover themselves.

Also could the Arabic commentator shut the hell up! He goes on and on and one - apparently FIFA have officially complained about the way he does it.

Now there's big campaigns to get the vuvuzela banned as well. I've never EVER seen South Africans use this before during any game of any sport. All you hear is the buzzing of bees. Quite how the players can concentrate is beyond me.

Now I'm going back to my ITV1 feed from the UK via my VPN - ahhh decent commentary.

You can get commentary in English you know, channel 11 Al J.

Yeah but you have to pay for that Sage! I'm not really interested in paying 400 Dhs, when I can watch in for free online or toddle down to my bosses place or to any of the venues.

Yes of course you have to pay, but at least we get an English commentary and get to watch in the comfort of our own place, where the drinks are about 10% of the price and we don't have to pay for a smelly taxi home either.

Sage, I can actually plug my macbook into my BIG tv to watch it on the telly - no problemo.
