Thought we could start a rain report by area so you know whether to bother going out anywhere!

Ok here goes....Al Ghusais...not too bad...roads clear....next!

My office, slightly overcast congested near water cooler stairs clear

ah thanks for that that really helps me with my plans for the day hahahahhah...made me laugh loads actually!

No rain here so all clear, but temperature is 3C!!!! Damn it's cold!!!!

Jebel Ali, still raining consistantly... kinda reminds me of Aberdeen with all the grey skies.

Hi Shaf - I am not far from you (I live in Wimbledon) and it's great isn't it. I hate the few days before it snows because it gets bitterly cold but today it is milder.

Was in London in December and it snowed on Boxing Day. Didn't quite expect it but it was surely lovely to have an almost white Christmas

Jebel Ali, Dubai Marina area - 3 days rain in a row now... I (from Holland) start really to feel at home here now

airyfairy - I'm just up the A3 from you, in Worcester Park! I was at home yesterday with the removal men.. I was glad to be home rather than having go to work in the snow!

Guilo - snow is rare in and around London. It doesn't snow every year and when it does, we only rarely have more than a dusting of snow. I think in the past 10 years we have had maybe 5 times when there has been occasions where we have had more than one inch of snow on the ground - it's wonderful at the time, then it all turns to slush....

Anyway, the forecast is for more snow next week.. it is milder today than of late.

I'm just hoping the sun is out in Dubai when we arrive on Friday!
