I read this story yesterday about a young female British teacher who allegedly committed suicide in Abu Dhabi. It is said that she drank corrosive fluid right after packing her things to go back home to the UK.

Why would she pack if she was planning to kill herself??

Anyone knows more about this story??

Terrible story.

I don't buy it either...Boyfriend probably did it.

I went out with a friend earlier this evening who told me there was an update on the story in today’s edition of The National. Here it is:

The coroner has confirmed that she had died as a result of drinking the corrosive fluid, hence the suicide suspicion. But when her body was discovered, it looked like she was packing to go home and her passport was in her pocket, which in my opinion throws off the suicide theory!

But could her boyfriend have forced her to drink enough of the cleaning fluid - enough to kill her, in order to make it look like a suicide??? That’s not an easy thing to do, is it!!!???

It is also mentioned that she might’ve accidentally drunk the cleaning fluid. But that’s also hard to believe!! She would’ve spitted it out as soon as she tasted it!!!
