I've read 2 books by James Patterson, and I like his stories a lot, it's perfect.. Does anyone here know a good writer with the same level of James?

Try Ian Rankin & the REBUS novels

alternatively "Escape From Dubai" by Herve Jaubert :)

Because he is a criminal looking to make more money out of his crime.

For one that does not make his book less interesting, especially if the Court in the US finds him innocent.
Wonder if Dubai Court will recognize it then.

Interesting or not, he's still a criminal who has absconded rather than face up to the Authorities, purchasing the book simply supports the crime.

What a shortsighted opinion once more. To ignore Herve's version of the two sided story is gross neglect of his human rights, even if he is a criminal. The US justice system is proven and effective, so let him fight it out there. I remember a torturing Sheikh Issa who made use of his 'Miranda rights'. Torture on video with multiple witnesses remember? I didn't hear you condemn that ruling, Onion! You are such a hypocrite.

I cant stand hypocrites like you Sage. What a miserable and appalling bias you have. :pukeleft:

You and UAE Court have ZERO/.001 credibility following its rulings in favor of the Serfdom. So you know.

Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts

This is a true story that was a great thriller. I don't read books twice, but this is one that I would certainly re-read. Actually I was hoping that there would have been a followup. Go to Amazon.com and you can read an excerpt and reviews on it. Great book.
