Why are villas in The Springs cheaper than elsewhere (or seems that way..) ?

Whats wrong with the Springs??? Its not better or worse than other villa communities..... is it?

'coz it takes 2 hrs to get in n out during the rush hours..
'coz the construction quality of the villas suck..
'coz there is a 6 lane road tht is going thro it which will lead to more traffic.

They all look the same - small, pokey and now in very bad condition compared to newer properties, a glut of them were left after the first econocrisis had many of the residents pack up and leave the country, 15 months ago they were double the current asking price

Isn't it true that "The Springs" is all townhouses?

As for the comment "Hell Hole" surely it would be more fitting to put that clasification on Int. City, at least according to recent media reports.

Springs suck for all the reasons mentioned above.
Stupid, narrow always under construction roads leading in and out.
Villas the size of doll houses, some one car garages are bigger that the peice of land they are built on.
I "heard" always a problem with the upstairs A/C ?

Still way overpriced I think....now getting excellent 3 br villas in barsha and mirdiff for less than 100k

Only think good about the recession, is more realistic rental prices, atleast for us tennats. Hoping they go down further.

Reading your comments I understand The Springs is not a good area to live. We are a family of 3 ( 2.5 year daughter) are were thinking of renting a villa in Springs 1 but seeing your posts we have to reconsider. Is it really that bad as you say?

Well plenty of people live there. It is just that they are like monopoly houses. rows and rows of them. quite small. Its a bit depressing. think of a maze full of 2 story beige houses.

On the "good" side of it you can pick one of them up for 1/2 price. Oh and there is nothing to do there!
