It's near/on the Trade Centre Roundabout (opposite the Trade Centre). Beautiful property but was never promoted or marketed correctly. If you go on the road behind Shangri-la Hotel and straight down it is the last property on your right, you would make a right into the hotel just before the merging traffic (from Satwa) to get onto the Trade Centre roundabout. Or, from the Trade Centre roundabout going to the Fiarment you would make your first right and proceed straight which would bring you to the front of the hotel. As I said, the M&S department there never properly marketed the property in Dubai. What they did not for years was put most of its budget into marketing it in Germany. The GM and the Director of S&M were German and thought that would be the ideal place to market it, but it never worked.
The Western Steakhouse in the Crowne Plaza on SZR.
If you're feeling flush, the Rib Room in Emirates Towers does a pretty excellent bit of Wagyu.
And if you're really in the mood for some serious spending, Nobu in Atlantis does a small dish where they flambe some fillet mignon at your table...now that was spectacular....
I will second Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, fabulous steak, not cheap though. Also impressed with The Meat Company either at Madinat or Souk Al Bahar and will again second the Butchers Shop in MOE for something a bit cheaper.
The Beefeater BBQ with a bottle of whatever is on special at the baracuda is not a bad option either. You even get a choice of knife... knife or no-knife. But the steaks only come well-done or charcoal.
Since every steak house steakhouse in Dubai has been covered, how about... what is the best cut/animal/etc.
Kangaroo is quite good, but hard to come by in Dubai.
