hi
i am planning to take Al Shamil internet connection 512 kbps .
should i go for modem from etisalat , wireless or wired modem id better .
i am using two OS at home , VISTA and XP .
WHICH MODEM IS GOOD??
pls give me a solution . .

I use a Belkin, wireless is good, but wired is faster.

if i am taking a wired modem and connect to my PC. will i be able to access wireless connection from my laptop ???

As long as the router has that function you will be able to access wireless, make sure you password protect it to avoid others using it and don't use ABC123 as a password

I use the modem provided by Etisalat, the seimens speedstream one and honestly it does the job fine for me.
