They still do it in the CID department at the Headquarters near Al Mullah Plaza, just had to get my parents ones done for Australian immigration! Don't expect them to do it in a hurry though. If you can submit it then pick it up yourself they'll do it quicker.

You can call these two numbers: 042013484 or 042013564 - try and speak to a Mr Ali Razek - he was very nice and got mine sorted straight away.

They still it in the Head quarters next to Al Mullah plaza, just got my parents done for Australian immigration.

If you can do it in person, then better as otherwise it'll take some weeks.

No idea, but they all speak perfect English. It's just the police clearance certificate I think, which will also be given to you in Englis, so no problem.

I got mine, twice. It was in Arabic. Will have to have it legally translated.

Maybe now they are issuing in English ? You can always ask when you go there.

Nope, no translation necessary! My documents (originals) were issued in English, as I guess they will issue in the main language of the Immigration Authority requesting it. Mine was Australian hence the originals were given in English. No problem what so ever. Sorry DD but you're putting complications where there are none.

No, simply stating FACT from me having to go through this process last week!

They won't send out originals in Arabic if the requesting immigration authority and or resident (who requests remotely) is not natively speaking arabic, because to get a translation would be a major hassle, so they just issue it in the native language. Easy, no worries, all good.

I've given all the correct info and phone numbers to speak to the guy that deals with it all directly. End of! Case closed!

Typical immature response from someone who can't bare the fact that some others actually might have more useful info.
