Today: "your witnesses are only one man and one woman? ... according to sharia law, for witnesses at least you need to bring 2 men or 1 man+2 women.... reschedule in 3 weeks"
Good job in wasting 5 weeks time for nothing!

So for the benefit of those not familiar with the system, 2 women = 1 man ?
How many Austrian midgets = 1 man ? Does a maid count as a whole woman or is that automatic disqualification ?

yup, you are right about that, same with blood money, AED200,000 for a man, AED100,000 for a woman.

Yup, unfortunately women are not deemed as credible witnesses. We are not allowed to give in our passports as guarantee for others either. Crappy if you ask me.
