after reading some of the things in the forum i was weighing things up in my mind when i decided to write them down to get a better perspective...

Internet charges 350dhs 3x more than uk
Paying for water (how much a month?)
Paying for landscaping (how much a month?)
Renewable residence visa 5,000dhs (every 3 year)
Medical test every year about £60
Internet is filterd
May have trouble with VoIP
Encountering racism? Authorities and otherwise

Good
Groceries 30% cheaper or less
Cheap studio apt in international city £35k, poss.
Good GNP so good investment
No council tax
Good opportunities (business/employment)
Nice city good standard of living
Very Safe
Eating out cheaper
Petrol cheaper (how much a month?)
Electricity cheaper (how much a month?)
Free Heat!

all in all it looks like without acomadation to pay for you would get by on 3000 dhms a month but i think just about...
