Would 7,000 AED be clased as a good monthly wage over there? Or something higher??? I havent got a clue... lol

Doing what exactly? Will the company provide accommodation, car, etc etc. If you have a partner that is qworking as well, then it will be good, if you are on ya own, I very, very much doubt it.

Will 7,000 AED per month, plus travel allowance and acommodation provided be enough to live on. So is 7,000 enough for the cost of living, ie, eating out, shopping.. Not interested in saving! Just living!

But, if u have atleast 2 years experience AND you are from Europe AND your cousin is seeking for a job in Media City she can expect 10,000 Dhs/M atleast + acc.

"acommodation provided..." i hate to be the fly in the ointment.... but check this out or get some clarrification from your employer before you make any decisions! in this area of the world it could mean anything from a penthouse appartment to a stable .... and in most instances it means the latter!

Yea there have been more then a few 'horror' stories about company arranged living conditions. Make sure to check it out.

And even a stable would be considered 'luxury living' in the eyes of those providing this fringe benefit.

I have 10 years experience working in offices! But the package offered to me isnt 10,000 aed. I am happy with whats offered though! Greed never gets you anywhere!

Its a one bedroom furnished apartment and I am coming over with my employer to see first. He also employs my mom and brother in law here in Cyprus and is a family friend so somehow I dont see him putting me up in a stable.. but if thats the case! I can always come back to Cyprus!

So are you saying that the equivalent of CYP1,000 per month in AED plus a one bedroom furnished apartment, travel allowance, a return flight home a year, plus medical coverage isnt enough?

What about phone lines? is it easy to get internet access at home?

What about electricity bills? I hear its quite expensive! Although its just me thats going to be using it.

For a one bedroom, I spend 100AED/mo without airconditioning... It doubles with AC... So really cheap, especially if you are single... But looking at you, I doubt you will remain single for long

Considering the cost of living....Car costs etc...is that a good deal?

People ask "what should I expect?" but at the end of the day you've got to ask yourself if you can keep the same lifestyle you are accustomed to and still save. You will need to provide more info like XRW-147 (BTW your name is annoying to type-is it a number plate or model of your car or something?? ) medical insurance, transport, housing, utilities etc can be bigger than the actual salary. Need more info please!!
