i heard there are some problemsthey are facing in the burj. and they are delaying opening. some cracks have appeared in some columns setttlement prpblems. but it is under wraps. nice pics

This is an old rumour, completely unsubstantiated. One of the biggest delaying factors was the problems they were facing with high winds at the upper levels, this was affecting the lifting of the cladding.

Not strange, since it affects those gov. companies' creditworthyness if the claim is eventually placed.

It seems to me that the Korean company is having some dificulties cashing in their contracts from the gov. backed developers. Its a common media tactic in order to get attention on servicing due payments.

This is amazing picture of Burj Dubai.its among worlds tallest building. Burj is main attraction of City. Its a great example of today's architect and technique.

It's not amongst the World's Tallest, it is the WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING / STRUCTURE

These pictures, and I have some more saved, are phenomenal! I have never seen electrical storms like these anywhere else in the world. Mind you, not been that far elsewhere so I'm limited!

Was caught out in Barasti one night when one of these beauties rolled in. Stayed to watch the spectacle with a mate and what a sight!! Completely soaked, after everyone else including bar staff had left, but totally worth it.
